Portland Hotel
in downtown Portland, OR, was a large affair and covered a city block. It closed in 1951 after 61 years of operation. I've inserted an old photo of it from Wikipedia (shown).
It was demolished and became the
Pioneer Courthouse Square
where the long
stand off protest
for
police killings
of last year occurred!
