The older "SLIM" batteries do fit in the APX6000/8000 cases but you will see a gap in front of the case - this is normal and the retention lanyard will maintain downward pressure to counteract the gap OUR CASES ARE DESIGNED TO FIT AS MANY DIFFERENT BATTERIES AND CONFIGURATIONS AS POSSIBLE.
