I think someone stepped on this old pillow cover at the swap meet, as I found it in a large pile of vintage linens on a sheet on the ground. It was very common during the war that a girlfriend would receive one of these from her sweetheart fighting for our country. It would be in perfect new condition if it weren't for these marks.
