Want a Nice Soft Short Flexible Dual Band Antenna the wont keep jabbing you in the
Ribs and performs well?
Now I know the APX7000 radio is a high dollar unit. But I have tested this aftermarket made antenna out on the APX7000 VHF and UHF Dual band portable and found out it
works and performs Excellent!
Went outside to test the GPS function and it picked up
my current location
in 5 seconds!
The OEM Motorola dual band antenna is so long it can be used for a night stick and possible injure someone!
Now I'm not saying that this is a Motorola approved antenna but if it works good...use it! But at your own discretion! I'm sure you will be happy with the results!

This antenna works well for the 2 bands listed above. It doesn't work with the 7/800Mhz band. Make sure you know which bandsplit your radio is operating on. We do sell a stubby OEM antenna for the 7/800 Mhz with GPS bands in another listing.
