Description

One KIT to build a custom interface board for the MTR 2000/3000 series repeaters.  This is for use with external controllers such as the Zetron Model 38, 39, 66, etc.  Roughly equivalent to Motorola P/N CDN6351 or Zetron P/N 702-9895A, this uses an op-amp to sum the audio and CTCSS outputs into the MTR.
Has a full breakout of the MTR rear backplane 96-pin J5 connector.  Also has a breakout location for the D-sub-9 connector for adding custom jumpers, extra control circuitry, etc.  See Repeater Builder or BatLabs for more details about interfacing the MTR to all sorts of fun gear.
This is a KIT.  You will have to do all the assembly, soldering, cabling, and testing yourself, DIY Heathkit-style.  Please note that all the resistors, capacitors, and the op-amp are small SMD 0805 size so you will get a brush-up on your fine tip soldering skills!  When done, it should look like the finished unit in the photos.
You will receive:
- PCB
- all SMD components to build to the schematic (individually bagged and marked!)
- the 96-pin and DE-9 female and male connectors
- one each of the DE-9 female and male hood connectors for building your own interface cables
- copy of the schematic/parts list
NOTE:  no returns on these kits once assembly has been started
