Presented for your consideration is this RARE antique souvenir walking stick from the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. The 1893 Chicago World's Fair is also commonly referred to as the Columbian Exposition as well. The top/knob of the walking stick is pewter and is a bust of Christopher Columbus. The detailed bust shows him wearing his signature hat with very detailed facial features. Around the bottom of the knob reads "1893 Columbus Chicago Souvenir Dec. 20-92." The shaft of the walking stick is wood painted black. It is completed with a metal tip. Guaranteed to be old. This neat walking stick would make a great addition to any walking stick/can or World's Fair memorabilia collection!
There is a crack in one side of the pewter. Some finish wear is on the pewter as well. Some paint and general wear is along the shaft as well. Overall in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Measures 34" long, 1 1/2" wide at the handle and 1 3/4" deep at the handle. Shaft measures 3/4" in diameter at the widest point.
