Please note the description below is for the original lesser quantity but the information other than quantity is correct.
The Product: You are bidding on a NOS Excelsior Henderson rear shock absorber. We received this in a dealer buyout. We found several of these in a large crate labeled "1499-0011 Excelsior Henderson OEM Super X 1999 Rear Shock." We believe these will fit 1999 HCX/HCXS models. Unfortunately, we are not familiar with the terminology of these models, so please look at the pictures carefully to see if this will work for your application and note our return policy before bidding.
Research: As stated previously, we purchased this in a buyout. It was located in a large crate labeled "1499-0011 Excelsior Henderson OEM Super X 1999 rear shock”. We found this on an internet page stating that it's retail value is 2 (shown in the third picture). We also found a diagram and a listing of this in the 1999-2000 parts catalog (shown in the 4th and 5th pictures). The 1999-2000 parts catalog states that this fits HCX and HCXS models. We are not familiar with the terminology of these models, so please keep this in mind before bidding. This shock measured about 13-5/8” in overall length and about 3” in overall diameter. Measuring from the center of one mounting hole to the center of the other with the shock dial set to ‘1’ (there are seven settings on this shock) measured 12”. The mounting holes are 3/8” in diameter. Please keep in mind these measurements were taken with a tape measure therefore they may be slightly inaccurate. We suggest you compare these measurements to your motorcycle to help determine if this will fit you application.
Layout of pictures: The first two pictures show the shock from different angles. The third picture is from a listing we found online. The fourth picture is a diagram that we found in the 1999-2000 parts catalog. The fifth picture is of the 1999-2000 parts catalog page showing this part number and the models it states it fits.
Condition: This item is new and in good condition. Please note that it may have some light rub marks or scuffs from sitting in the warehouse for several years.
Pricing: One of the internet sites that we found this on had this listed for 2. Our starting price is well below that.

Our Guarantee:
After receiving this item, you have 14 days to inspect it. If for whatever reason you are dissatisfied with the product, you are entitled to return it as outlined in our policy below:
(1) Our customer service is included with your package (on the sheet included with your invoice), you will have to email that address within 14 days of receiving the item. We cannot post the address here because of Ebay's rules.
(2) The item is to be received back in the same condition as when we shipped it. Please look at the pictures in the ad to compare to the item you receive. If your item is in different condition than pictured, please contact Customer Service via e-mail because it is most likely an insurance claim to settle with the shipping carrier. Please retain your original shipping material, including the box in which the item arrived. If it has sustained shipping damage, a carrier claim needs to be filed; contact Customer Service via e-mail in order to process the claim.
(3) If the item arrives as described in the ad, with no damage from shipping, a restock fee that covers processing and eBay fees will be deducted from your refund.
(4) You will be responsible for all shipping costs both ways. You will also be responsible for insuring the package when you send it back to us to ensure that we safely receive it. We do not refund your shipping/insurance costs.
(5) If your item arrives and is
MATERIALLY DIFFERENT
than the description in the ad, please contact Customer Service to receive a full refund on the item and on shipping charges.
