    .  The fan was copyrighted by J.W. Green in 1893.  The back was plain light pink and may have had an ad for "Dr. Johns' Cascara Tablets" that someone felt would be better removed.  The plain wood sticks are 13" long and the fan opens to 25-1/2" wide, and has a brass loop and a steel rivet.
    With the exception of the back, this is a hard fan to find in this condition.
