    Description

Up for sale is this vintage (as in not a reproduction) diagram of the "Transportation Building; World's Columbian Exposition. Burnham Director of Works and Shankland Chief Engineer." This chart was issued (blank on back) in the Engineering News of December 29, 1892. Chas Hart & Sons did the lithography.
Just as I was finishing this up I noticed a small slit on the first fold along the bottom border. I put some
    archival
document repair tape on it. It was so hard to see I accidently put it on the other side first which didn't need it! See the last picture of the repair.
The overall size of the chart is 14 " by 21 1/2"; whereas the area within the border is around 11 1/2" by 18 1/8", leaving ample room to have this nicely matted and framed for your den.
The first two pictures are scans. My scanner is not big enough so I have to scan it in two parts. Please note that any red text is only on the digital image and will not be on the actual chart you will receive. The last picture is a photograph of the entire chart. I'm a really bad photographer working with a cheap phone, but at least you can see the total picture. This has been folded into the journal for over a hundred years and it will be shipped to you folded the same way.
    Thanks,
    Kevin
